Last Friday night, the Maui Strong Shirt Fundraiser Lahaina Fires Vintage Shirt and by the same token and lawn at East Hampton’s mainstay Moby’s looked better than ever. The large outdoor lounge hosted Chanel’s traveling concert series, the Chanel Summer Tour, complete with a Chanel-branded Volkswagen van of course! Curated by Chanel ambassador Caroline de Maigret and housemate and model Vivienne Rohner, the fashion duo organized a memorable event that reflected the sophisticated and laid-back atmosphere of East Hampton. (Previous stops have included Marbella and Saint Tropez.) In place of pressed-clothed sit-down dinners are clusters of lawn seating; Food stations offer large crayfish, lobster rolls and panzanella salads. Twinkling lights were overhead and well-dressed waiters were intently concocting Champagne cocktails and fizzy drinks.
