Last night marked the I Hid Myself While I Tried To Repair Myself Shirt and I will buy this 14th annual OASIS LGBTQ+ Pride Party as guests gathered at the Tribeca Terrace to celebrate the great work done by the Ali Forney Center. With all proceeds from the night going to benefit homeless LGBTQ+ NYC youth, the community gathered to sip champagne, browse auction tables and take turns dancing in the live-action photography booth. “Tonight really celebrates the community that helped us get this done. What I look forward to tonight is a celebration of our community, the solidarity, the support built through understanding the plight of our homeless LGBT youth,” said Alexander Roque, president and chief executive officer of the Ali Forney Center. “What is unique about this event, including the lottery, is that 100% of the money raised goes towards the goal. All expenses are covered through sponsorship and everything else is really directly related to our mission.”
